London Day 2 (18th April) Part 3

We've done the circuit on the bus, made a little plan of the places we would like to see by ourselves and now out for a wander.....

 

Piccadilly Circus with the massive TV screens in the background but haven't really came out on the photo (the red strip at the back above the bus is part of the TV's), believe me they are MASSIVE!!! 

Amy's wish list was to visit the largest M & M's store in the world, another tick Amy.  The place was heaving, smelling of chocolate and absolutely MASSIVE!!

Easter Mix, UK Mix, Royal Mix, Ocean Mix and not sure what other mixes there were and then there were the separate colours oh yeah chocolate, crispy and peanut!!!

We got pennies for our Easter from Grandma and Grandpa, so here we are Grandma and Grandpa this is our Easter present from you both, thank you very, very much, yummy, yummy, yummy!!! XXX

Victoria Memorial so we each have a section to pose in front of, Amy's peeps are happy!

Here we are at the gates of Buckingham Palace, wowee!

The guard, he started pacing after this still shot, his legs must have been getting sparkly (Amy's term for pins and needles).  Do you think they wear support socks or tights maybe??  Just imagine their varicose veins, ha ha!!!

Amy fascinated by the guards and looking at the balcony where she saw Prince William and Princess Kate kiss ewh!!!  That is what I kept on getting told about the wedding, they kissed ewh!!

Gotta do a selfie in front of Betty's house ha ha! 
She must have forgotten we were popping in for coffee, rude she was out!! Hee hee!!!

Amy is sooo happy, she's loving the exploring and seeing all the new places!!

Green Park - so the story goes as to why there are no flowers in this park is due to the Queen (not sure which one but many years ago!) handed a flower to the King and said 'give this flower to the most beautiful girl in the world', he handed the flower to a stranger walking by so the Queen ordered all the flower beds to be dug up! 
It is beautiful and green though with just the trees.

Here we are heading back to the Underground.  So this is what we were climbing on and off of yesterday Colin with 2 big suitcases and I had Amy's hand luggage suitcase and another big suitcase!  At the start of the escalator you were so focused on getting the suitcases on then you looked up and eeeek that is a long way down!!!!  Anyway we were getting used to getting on and off escalators by the end!

So we headed home, had tea in Westfield Shopping Centre again and then home for bed at a reasonable time for Amy as we are out to Matilda tomorrow night, exciting day ahead of us again tomorrow, woop woop!!!
