As Freddie Mercury would sing BARCELONA!!
The bed head look of Mr Anderson, no kettle in our apartment so ladle of boiled water!
Colly looks in need of a COFFEE!!!
Coffee revived Colly and now onto sandwich making for our lunch!
We are on a budget of £'s each day so the sandwiches are certainly helping with that!
The domestic goddess hanging up the washing, ha ha!!
Our front door of the apartment
Oh look our front door of the apartment block!
Enough already :o)))
Placa Espanya - an absolutely beautiful roundabout
So we walk down this very long beautiful road to get to
the first stop for the Hop on Hop off bus tour
Pretty fountain on this roundabout, starting to think Barcelona is a very pretty city now!
Yet another pretty fountain on a roundabout - I did hear they were proposing new plans for Haudagain roundabout in Aberdeen do you think I should give them some ideas might brighten the mood around the roundabout! Hee Hee!!

The gold fish structure shining beautifully in the gorgeous sunshine Bo)
Yet another water fountain roundabout!
Opportunistic reflection of our tour bus in the shop window
The Agbar Tower contains mostly offices and then comes to life again at night with over 4,500 luminous LED points displaying a staggering range of 16 million colours. Would loved to have seen this but it doesn't start until 9pm, too late for all of us!!
The bull fighting ring
The top of the Sagrada Familia - fascinating that the building works commenced in 1882 and the work is still on-going with an expected completion date of 2026! Each piece and each side of the building is said to be unique hence why it is taking soooo long! There are a few photos of each side of the building. Gaudi who designed it died in 1926 so would have only seen a small bit of it built!
We get closer to the Sagrada Familia and come across these little Flamenco dancers, soooo cute!!
Stopped for picnic before walking round the outside of the Sagrada Familia
Wow, the building is sooo different!
More views
We are going round the outside of the building when there is a live band
playing with lots of people in orange t-shirts doing looks like an aerobics class,
it said something something fitness on their t-shirts! Random!
'Video killed the Radio star' song comes on so Amy and I stop and dance in the street! Random!
More music let's play some air guitar!!! Even more random ha ha!!
St Pau Hospital, beautiful building
Some sights around the city and longest street in the city below
Gaudi building, weird and wonderful
One of the many squares behind us
Yippee Hard Rock Café behind us, rude not to stop and have a drink, don't mind if I do!!
Checking out the drinks list, beer for Colin and water for the girls!
Gotta play an instrument, I'm on drums and Colin on guitar
Amy not keen at all to play air guitar, oh how embarrassing Daddy!!
I'll do a thumbs up though!
St Columbus statue
Some pretty building Colin wanted me to photograph! Not sure what it is though?
Plans are to go to the castle on the top of this hill, Montjuic Castle tomorrow, exciting!
Just going past the harbour looking at all the containers,
I wonder if our goods have started their journey to Australia yet!
Our worldly possessions in a few boxes!!!
Olympic stadium for 1992 Olympics
This white curly thing is supposed to look like an athlete bending down to
receive a medal at the Olympic stadium!
The entrance to the Spanish village
The Montjuic Palace, another thing on our to do list tomorrow!
Here we are back at our stop, nearly home!
Arena shopping mall with a lift you can take to the top of the building and view all the statues and buildings around the roundabout
