Deeside and Balmoral day trip with Grandma and Grandpa!

We stopped for lunch at Ballater Station Restaurant, Colin had Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, yummy might be a while before these things are back on the Anderson's menu!!

Crossing the bridge to Balmoral Castle, exciting!!

Beautiful scenery and snow on the mountains when we were driving here

Beautiful Balmoral Castle XX

A very small part of the 50,000 acres of gardens/land belonging to Balmoral Castle

Pretty girl

Cool dude beside the sign but only when I took the photo did I realise the sign was for Toilets and Café so we went hunting for another more exciting sign!!

Yippee we found a better sign for a photo and nice backdrop!

Selfie!!!

Colin's favourite - the entrance where the horse drawn carriages can be driven into so Royalty don't need to step outside

Amy's little friend ha ha!

A little artistic photo to show Daffodils and the castle.  So the castle is 1,000ft above sea level and can record air frost in any month of the year BRRRRRRR!  Daffodils have been recorded still to be flowering in June/July here no wonder the Queen waits until August/September to visit here.

Entrance into the gardens

Family shot in the gardens

Visit over and here we go back across the bridge to the car park

View through the bridge up the River Dee.
Scotland at its best, absolutely beautiful

View through the bridge down the River Dee, stunning!
