At the weekend we had to have the advocate to assess all boundaries etc of the house, seemingly this is normal procedure. But we still worried about it, anyhow no need to worry everything was fine.
Then on Monday we had a phone call stating that we needed Building Regulations to approve our wood burning stove that we installed in 2007. I had already spoken to Building Regulations and they said proof of who installed was sufficient but hey ho our purchaser's thought this wasn't good enough! So Monday was a few frantic phone calls, I have to say everyone I spoke to was amazing and willing to help us with our tight schedule!! So a survey was done on the wood burner yesterday (Tuesdsy) which it passed as we knew it would. Next step was to email certificate of survey to Building Regulations for them to approve it, the guy at Building Regulations is such a COOL man he said people should enjoy life a bit more and not worry over a silly certificate that didn't even exist when we got our wood burner installed! So he said no worries we can approve the certificate. Certificate emailed and approved today, phew!!
The news gets better though, at 3pm we get a phone call to say searches are all complete and our COMPLETION date yes you saw correct our completion date for the house sale will be FRIDAY 11th, woop woop woop (we are doing cartwheels, well in our heads we are, we would injure ourselves if we did a proper cartwheel ha ha!)
That is it paperwork all to be signed and keys handed over on FRIDAY and then relax and enjoy our wonderful adventures that are ahead of us as we have worked extremely hard to get to this point, can't stop smiling :o)))))))))
