Up for breakfast early and then we sped across London on the underground -
the best thing ever was getting the Oyster Card it has been absolutely brill.
We went from Stratford to London Bridge to try and catch the Thames River Cruise -
it came as part of our Hop On Hop Off tour ticket.
The underground has so many escalators, Colin decided to beat us up!!
We came out of the Underground at The Shard (Europe's tallest building), wow impressive!
Not so sure I would like to work in it though, eek! The view looking up!
Amy wanted me to try and get as many photo's as I could with Daddy in them today!!
Not allowed to tell Daddy though, ha ha!!
We crossed the river on London Bridge to get to the River Cruise.
What a view across from London Bridge over to Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast :o)
We just made it in time after a little jog along the River Thames!
Mission being accomplished with the photo's Daddy hee hee!
Phew, now sit down, relax and enjoy the landmarks from the river!! We went from Tower Pier to Greenwich then back to Westminster Pier, it was sunny but chilly on deck!
Tower of London from the River Thames
We were told by the crew that Tower Bridge doesn't open very often as you need to request 24 hours in advance! Was lovely to see the bridge opening though.
Piece of interesting facts WHARF stands for 'Warehouse at River Front' didn't know that!
Canary Wharf skyline
We stopped at Greenwich for 20minutes but we didn't get off the boat we stayed on and played Top Trumps and Pass the Pigs, Colin won Pass the Pigs and I won Top Trumps, woop woop!
Good view over Tower Bridge and The Shard with HMS Belfast
Through London Bridge to get to Westminster Pier, time to disembark!
