So it was our last time that we were able to walk home from Sulby School yesterday to our beautiful home (well it used to be when it was fully furnished) at 4 The Millrace, Sulby. But instead of our gorgeous gummy bear daughter Amy being released at bell time we were met by Aims the Viking to escort us home!!
Aims the Viking! |
Oh yeah but Aims the Viking forgot her water bottle....
Back into school for water bottleWe charged through the school car park avoiding the dodgy parking and made it to Raymond's safely! |
Made it to Raymond's! |
Aims charged through the shop and went behind the counter to pick her sweets for the last time. It is really sweet seeing Amy sorry Viking Aims go into Raymond's and she toddles round the counter only when Raymond asks her to come round though to see what sweets he has in stock. Raymond even calls Amy, Aim or Aims her little nickname she likes people to call her. Really sweet Aims asked for American Hard Gums her favourites and as a parting gift Raymond gave her the sweets for free, aaaahhhh!! So sad to say 'never goodbye always see you later' anyway still sad :o( also saw Graham too. Was lovely the pair of them wishing us well, not many places have the old style community spirit in the shops these days (holy moly I sound really OLD!! Ha ha)
So we battle through the shop again to escape onto the Sulby Straight homeward bound!!!
