It is truly a tale of Trains, Planes and

Automobiles today!!

 

 

Checking out of the Novotel in Brugge

 

We had to get a taxi as we couldn't afford to wreck another suitcase on the cobbles!

The taxi driver told us we weren't the first to be taken by the cobbles!!

Grrrrrr very frustrating!!!!

 

Taxi cost us 8 Euros, the journey wasn't far but would have been for the suitcases!

We are now at the train station heading towards Brussels Midi station.

 

Colin is busy doing the money (finance budget man!) on the laptop and Amy is completing her journal for Brugge.

Our train left at 11.39am and arrived in Brussels Midi at 12.35pm.

 

Here they are having their Scooby Snacks hee hee on the train!

 

We have arrived at Brussels Midi station and now we are looking for our

connection to Brussels Airport, oh yeah look Amy, Daddy has found our connection!

 

We are certainly quicker and so much better with the cases on the escalators!!

Don't think we should put that down on our CV's though ha ha!!

 

Ok we are now on the Brussels Midi to Brussels Aeroport train

 

Train left at 12.50pm and arrived at the airport at 13.10pm.

 

Our train that has got us to Brussels Airport, woohoo we've made it to the airport!

 

Need to get the lift to departures now.

 

Let's just do a final weigh in before we check in!!  All just under 20kg so we are fine.

 

Checking in and we are only supposed to have one piece of hand luggage, oh well let's see if we get stopped!  No we didn't get challenged!!



 

There is our flight, the gates and security were absolutely miles away but

we have found our gate A42

 

 

That's us boarding now Row 16 seats A, B and C.  Flight 15.40- 17.35pm

Barcelona airport, we have made it to our next destination.

 

Need to take the 46 bus to Placa Espanya, bus driver not very friendly and spouting lots to us in Spanish.  We managed though!!  It's been hard with the different languages but we have been picking bits up as we have been going along but now we are just completely confused what language to speak with all the different languages within a short space of time!!  We'll survive though :o))))
