We've arrived in Barcelona xx
So we get off the bus and into the city to find our apartment, Amy is super excited!!
She keeps on telling us 'her first apartment' Amy has also been saying she would like to live in an Apartment when we arrive in Adelaide, not sure if the reality of no garden if we did has sunk in yet!
So we head up to the roundabout and then WOW the views surrounding us are AMAZING!!
The Arena De Barcelona
Another turn and WOW!!
We cross the road and then WOW we can see the Montjuic Castle in the distance!
We are a 5 minute walk away from these beautiful sights
So here is our aparment's balcony which is the whole length of our apartment! We have patio doors off of the lounge and all 3 bedrooms!

Apartment is lovely but the only down side is that it is on a busy road. It is nice to have some space to move around, be able to cook and do washing!!
So we go shopping when we arrive to get some supplies, supermarket literally just round the corner. Reminds us of Shoprite in the Isle of Man weighing our fruit and pricing it up before getting to the till. Amy is doing well with the Spanish fruits and vegetables names!
The supermarket is busy, it is bizarre the entrance is at the tills and the supermarket is huge but there are only 4 tills to pay and we are squashed into a tiny space that barely managed to take the width of the trolley to get to the checkout, all good fun though!!
Awh cooking it feels like ages since I cooked our last meal, ah well now that you
come to mention it, probably about 3 weeks ago! I haven't missed it that much
but it is nice to eat home cooked food, yummy!!! The selection and easiness of
reading the labels in Spanish for my gluten free food was brill so much better than Brugge!
So Amy's Isle of Man favourite food has been Cajun spiced chicken with pasta and carrots
before we left, so that was what I made Amy, she loved it and ate it ALL!!
Glad you enjoyed our first 'home cooked' tea for a while Amy! I just want to add the term 'home' is used loosely as not to remind us that we DO NOT have a HOME!!
I made a gluten free pizza for Colin and I (cheated and bought the pizza base) with Cajun spiced chicken, cheese and sweetcorn. Mmmmmmmm real tasty!!!!!!
Had to get a family shot in our first apartment and also of our first 'home cooked' tea.
Three photo's taken and the last one always funny!!
So I go to put the washing machine on and don't have a clue about what setting to put it
on so fingers crossed and hope for the best it will come out alright!
