16th May - cruising day

Amy gets up and wants to go to kid’s club rather than come to try the Romeo and Juliet for breakfast so Amy has breakfast in the room, we dropped off Amy at kid’s club and then head to breakfast.  Funniest thing was that we were due to meet Alison, Bill (our reciprocal agreement for photograph couple when we stopped in Gerainger and from Orlando), Brian and Erin (Bill and Alison's son and daughter-in-law) for lunch at 12.15pm but Amy decided she wanted to partake in the talent show this week at kid’s club at 12.15pm.  So we would have to rearrange to meet for lunch at 1pm and just as we were saying that we would have to call Bill and Alison we bang into Bill on our way to breakfast.  All sorted now for our talent show at 12.15 and lunch at 1pm.  Bill was also going for breakfast so the three of us go for breakfast.  Rather than a buffet style breakfast this is waiter service so Colin orders the Classic breakfast without eggs but the waiter just doesn’t get it that Colin does not want eggs with his sausages, hash browns and bacon so it takes a few minutes to process and try and explain to the waiter but he does eventually get it!!  We have breakfast and then toddle back to the room for getting organised for packing and getting the blog up to date for using the Royal Carribean Wifi at the port before we head to the airport!  Need to keep everyone updated of our adventures over the past couple of days.  I have been typing and organising the photo’s ready each night so it is a little quicker and easier when we get some wifi.

Our room is made up for all our instructions for disembarking tomorrow, cute heart J

All the Adventure Ocean kid’s club teachers with their nicknames, real names and where they come from

So here are all the kid’s that are going to take part in the talent show, good luck everybody!!
Amy did her trick with hula hoop on her wrist spinning it around and then swapping arms, then with two hula hoops on her wrist and then her finale was running with the hula hoop spinning around her ankle!!  It was cute as all the kids got a medal and won first prize!!!  So at the end of each performance you had to say your name, age and where you come from.  Amy was doing well until Lou Lou asked her where the Isle of Man was and Amy’s answer was ‘in the middle of the sea’ it was funny and so right but no-one was sure which sea!!  It has been very confusing on the cruise when people ask us where we come from as we feel we need to give our life history as we started just saying we were from Scotland because people were picking up on our accents but then Amy would pipe up I am from the Isle of Man to save people thinking we were child abductors we would have to say where that was and then say we have lived in the Isle of Man for the past 11 years where Amy was born!!!  I just felt sometimes that people were only asking a simple question they are not expecting a 5 minute answer ha ha!!

Next all the parents and children had to decide who got slimed with yucky slime!!  We had to scream and shout for the person who we thought should get slimed, the person with the loudest screams and shouts lost!  Oh dear who will it be!!!!

Poor Lily Pad (that is her Adventure Ocean nickname!) from Portugal lost and she got slimed!!!  Ewh blue sticky slime!!!!

All the kids and teachers behind poor Lily Pad!

Here is Amy’s hand on the ‘Adventure Ocean Walk of Fame!’ her hand is to the right of her name!
We had a lovely lunch with Alison, Bill, Brian and Erin at 1pm then Amy headed back to kid’s club for the afternoon and Colin and I went to see the Matinee performance of the acrobats we saw the other night, it was then back to the room for blog and packing!!

Amy is absolutely goosed now from kid’s club, soon be tea time, showtime and then bedtime and then onto our next adventure!!

Here are our American buddies Bill, Alison, Brian and Erin.  We are meeting up with Bill and Alison when we go to Orlando in 11 days time woop woop!!  Brian and Erin I’m not sure where our paths will meet again but I am pretty sure they will when we all are on our next adventures!!

Headed for tea and then went to see the Absolutely Fab production with all British songs being sung by the Royal Caribbean singers and dancers

Amy collected her activity pocket from kid’s club with all her bits from the past 2 weeks!

Our photo from this week’s cruise as a memento, love this photo of the 3 of us on formal night all glammed up!!

That is us getting packed up, back to pulling and pushing our suitcases and back to finding all our clothes etc when we are living out of suitcases but only got 10 days and then we will be in Orlando for 2 weeks!  The time is just flying by it is CRAZY!!
We are ready to move on now onto our next part of the Big Holiday Adventure!!!  Don’t think we have Wifi in Moscow but we will post when we can JJ
