Cruise - 2nd May day at sea chilling and cruising :o)

Cruise next stop ......

Here we are heading to the cruise ship, taking the bus number 26

Woman on a mission to get to the bus!!

We’ve made it to the bus stop! Colin checking out the times of the buses

EXCITED FACE!!!

Our first glimpse out of the bus, we are sooooo close now, all of us EXCITED NOW :o)))))

Amy got off the bus and said WOW!  That sums up the feelings of seeing the cruise ship!

Amy even more so now on a mission!!!!!!  Let’s get going, come on!!!!

Bag tagging!!

That’s it the bags are checked in, now it is our turn, EXCITING!!!

Here we are all our forms completed, now WE can check in!  Soooooo close now!

All the boring paperwork done now so THIS WAY TO THE SHIP!!!

Amy has her Seapass card ready!  Our card that will get us off and on the ship, pay for our extras, show we have completed paperwork for rock-climbing, room key and our identity cards too!!  Heaven help us if we loose it!!!

Lunch stop at the Park Café.  Our cabin will be ready at 1pm but there is a raffle at 1.45pm and we have been collecting raffle tickets so we might be lucky!

Our view over the port for lunch, another sunny day B0))

Colin checking the raffle tickets, eyes down!  We didn’t win anything :o(

Amy trying to find our room and woop woop our cases are there already, happy days!

Amy not impressed she can’t get in as the cases are in the way, let me in, let me in!!!

– Here we are our spacious cabin but where is tinkerbell’s bed??  We thought maybe the sofa turned into a bed but no they have Pullman beds so at turn down service they make up Amy’s bed and it comes down from the ceiling!  We have just met Rogie our room attendant, he seems really nice.

4pm is the legal requirement by International law that everyone undertakes an emergency drill – Amy checking she has her child’s life jacket.  The emergency sirens go off then you have to head to your muster station.  You have to wait 15 minutes until the captain of the ship releases everyone back into the ship atleast we didn’t need to wear our life jackets to the muster drill like Colin and I had to do on our Caribbean Cruise.

Checking out the view just before we leave the port!

Exploring the ship

Outdoor pool, brrrrr water is a bit chilly for this time of year!

Outdoor 9 hole crazy golf

Shuffle board

Royal Caribbean sign on the ship

Glass sculpture of the ship, beautiful

Amy in the casino, you were allowed to wander everywhere before we set sail as nothing was open yet!

The marble glass staircase, wow at the centre of the ship

The three excited, happy faces.  Just back from registering Amy for Explorer’s club kid’s club for 6-8 year olds!  There are only 20 children on the ship so think they might combine all the kid’s clubs, Amy is sooo excited to go to kid’s club tomorrow!

Chilling waiting for us to set sail – 5pm departure!

Amy watching and dancing to the steel band playing for the departure party

Departing Copenhagen  - you can see all the spires of the buildings that we explored yesterday!
