Day 3 in Orlando
Disney's Blizzard Beach
Really looking
forward to a day in the water today as walking round the parks and queuing is
hot and sweaty work!! It will be lovely
and refreshing!
Ok here we go, excited!!!
Blizzard
Beach here we come!!
Amy
is ready and we haven’t got into the park yet!!
Let’s
get our tickets scanned, finger scanned and get going!!
How cool is this and
even the snowmen’s noses drip as if they are melting!
Amy’s
little excited face with the wave pool behind her!
We took a little dip in the pool before heading to the slides and rides!
Slush Gusher that is a speed slide with a few
bumps along the way which one of them you do come off the slide, Daddy has been
on that slide, eeek!!! In the photo you
can see umbrellas they are the ski lift chairs to take you to the top of Mount
Gushmore! With the top of the mountain
being the Summit Plummit steep drop down a slide, Colin built up his courage
for that one but did go on it!! We all
went on the Teamboat springs which is a long, fast raft ride
As you can imagine the camera has been away today but I have captured a few shots around the park but none of us on the rides and slides!
We also went on Snow Stormers switchback
slalom slide, Amy’s favourite ride on a mat!!
The
Toboggan racers, 8 lanes of racing on mats, cool!!
The
top of Summit Plumit and then …..
The
photo of the whole slide, eeek!!! Colin
loved it!!
Downhill Double
Dipper was another slide that we went on this one you go down as a single rider on a rubber ring
doughnut. So it starts off as a steep
slide down and then takes you round corners along the way down! Amy and I weren’t so sure but Colin loved it!
There was also Runoff
Rapids on the Red Slope, double doughnut for Amy and I and Colin went on the enclosed single
rider slide, it was cool fun!
The
ski lift was cool, you stand and it picks you up and then stand up at the top and walk
away from it!
Cool
Runner’s little doughnut slide that Amy and I went on whilst Colin was away on
his adrenaline slides!
Ski Patrol Training
Camp where Amy and I hung out waiting for Colin, included a zip wire and a pool
The day is done and
we have all had an absolutely chilled out day and enjoyed all the rides and
slides we have been on!
We
also had some chill out time on the Cross Country Creek 250ft long lazy
river! It takes about 30 minutes to go
around the lazy river round the whole park, cool fun!
Whaaaaaaah!!!
We have had a brill day JJJJ
Here
we are at the gated entrance to our house!
Home
and guess where the water baby goes, yes in the pool!
This
is the lake that is at the bottom corner of our garden but because of the trees
you can’t really see it from the house!
We are sitting chilling by the pool after tea and Amy is in bed when we hear strange bird noises so Colin goes off and investigates, not sure what they are??
Oh
my gosh Colin is checking out the neighbour’s gardens now and look what he finds!!!
At the bottom of our garden
When we head to the parks we drive by this
big massive American flag, biggest flag we have ever seen!
It is off to bed as
we have a very special day ahead of us as we have breakfast with Cinderella,
woop woop!!! Breakfast at Cinderella’s
was part of Amy’s birthday present from us, so as you can imagine she is VERY
EXCITED!!!
