Day 1 Orlando, woop woop xx

Day 1 of Florida parks!

We are all still a bit tired from late night last night but we are keen to get at one of the parks today!!  We are heading to SeaWorld as it is supposed to be one of the smallest and easiest parks to do, EXCITED!!

Here is Col and I’s bedroom with the lovely king bed with massive ensuite shower, corner bath and walk in wardrobe, this house is massive we are only living downstairs!

Breakfast on the patio don’t mind if we do!!

The front of the house with the gang getting the car packed up with us heading to Seaworld!!

Amy is soooooo excited as we all are as this will be our first ever experiences of big parks!

Here we go, we have arrived at Seaworld, our house is only 10-25 minute drive away from the parks!
All of us are Excited.Com!!

Scan our ticket and scan our fingerprint, off we go!!

Now this is when the photo’s get less you will be glad to hear as a lot of the rides don’t allow you to take photo’s whilst on the ride and we want to have fun!!

Our first ride Antartica – visit to the South Pole with the penguins

Happy faces you got to choose ‘Wild’ or ‘Mild’ ride so Amy chose Wild!!

The ride takes you following a penguin’s journey animated show up a hill through blizzards with wind effects and then you end the ride in the real life penguin area, cute!

Observation glass to see them swimming under water as well as seeing them on the snow and cliff areas too

Journey of Atlantis log flume, wow it was HIGH!!  It is good as at the start of the wet rides it tells you that ‘You WILL get wet’ so no surprises we came off soaking!!

This is Colin and Amy after the Journey of Atlantis, WET!

Then we headed to the One Ocean performance with the Killer Whales, WOW!

The stage and pool behind us, so Amy and Colin would like to sit in the soak zone!!
What have we let ourselves in for?????

All the killer whales getting some fish before the performance

The show is away to start when they put up screens saying ‘you WILL get wet if you are seated in the soak zone and place all camera’s away to avoid them getting WET, now I am worried about how wet we are going to get???

WOW!!!

Okay so I put my camera away in the poly sandwich bags we brought just incase, so no more photo’s sorry!

Well all I can say is we got absolutely dripping wet as one of the killer whales at the very end came out and the keepers directed them to splash their tales down and splash water over the crowd!  We were on the fourth row and boy we got hit with a vast volume of water as you can imagine a killer whale’s tale can cause a massive splash!!  The whale splashes us 3 times and then we leave as we are all absolutely dripping wet now and don’t want anymore water over us!  It was amazing though and we all enjoyed getting wet as all part of the fun!!  Hard to believe that the trainers used to swim with the whale’s until last years catastrophe but what an amazing show!

Amy ringing out her socks!

Us dripping wet just after the show!!

Atleast we know that this whale won’t turn its tale on us and splash us with water that is for sure!!

Cool hanging baskets!

Cool Seahorse

We then went to see Clyde and Seamore Show with Sea Lions, otter and a massive Walrus!

This park is about animals and performances so we go to our third performance of the day to watch Pet’s Ahoy.  They had mice, parrots, dogs, cats, pot bellied pig and geese all doing different entrances and exits all over the wall at the back of the photo

We stopped for lunch and then saw some of the Crazy Chef’s playing music on old pans!!

The final show we went to see was the Dolphin show with aerial show, acrobatic stunts with pirates falling into the water and the handler's swimming with the dolphins, amazing!

If only that person’s head wasn’t in the way but anyway you get the just of it we watched the dolphins swim with the trainers and do a spectacular show

The Manta - Amy was too small for but Colin went on it as it was a loop the loop, fly like you are a stingray!  Colin loved it!!

Amy is a winner, ding ding ding!!!

Cool Seaworld car to mark the end of our day at SeaWorld!!

We popped into the supermarket on the way home to get food supplies for tea and oh my gosh the killer whale has followed us, watch out Amy you might get WET!!!  Ha Ha!!!!

Dip in the pool with the new member of the family Sheena!

Very civilised a cold drink in the Jacuzzi!!

We sat outside for tea and then a raccoon came next to where we were sitting.  The pool area is all enclosed in a net so it couldn’t get in to us but Amy thought it smelt the Cajun chicken I had just cooked!!!
Well what an amazing day we have had and now we have experienced a Florida park then all we can say is BRING IT ON!!!! Colin and Amy’s best part was the Dolphin show but I really enjoyed seeing the Killer Whale show.
Tomorrow is going to be a ride park at Universal Islands of Adventure!!  Up and out early so off to bed, night night xxx
