Day 2 Cruising - 14th June

Saturday 14th June

Day 2 at sea, cruising

Woke up to this view when I opened the curtains, the pilot ship not sure if they were dropping off or picking the pilot up!

Amy and I went to get Amy’s breakfast from the Windjammer and then took her breakfast back to the room as we were struggling to find a table in the Windjammer.  Amy is back to her routine of Porridge, Croissant and a roll, no Nutella spread though L

Ok we all know where Amy is heading today, Adventure Ocean, see you at 12 xxx

Oh yeah we like these prompts to remind us what day it is, as I have no clue!!

There were free maps of the ports and free gifts on offer so Colin and I had breakfast together and then headed to the Ports of Call shopping event in the Aurora Theatre with Adam, it was good but then got a bit tedious!  We got some vouchers off of some shops and he was throwing things into the audience and I got hit on the head with a Bamboo necklace thing, mmm even Amy wasn’t impressed but they are supposed to cost $15!  It went straight in the bin!!

After picking up Amy we headed to lunch at the Windjammer.  Colin and  I were away getting our food when there was a sighting of a whale near to our ship, Amy saw it blowing air and its big black tail splashing into the sea.  So our eyes were peeled then to watch out for sealife.  Amy and I saw a pod of dolphins really close to our ship and then we saw some fins of something not sure what as it was a good bit away.  Colin is still looking to where we pointed at ha ha!!  Colin is not on whale watch or dolphin watch or any other watch ha ha!!

Look at the ice cream Amy has just dispensed herself, wow!!

And this was Colin’s effort dispensing his ice cream!!

Sale of clothes on deck, oh that hat looks familiar to us ha ha!!

Formal night tonight so bargain dress on and Amy picked up a new dress in Orlando as she had spilt something down her other dress and it was getting too small so it got thrown out and the purple one to replace it, cute!

Funny faces!!!

Pretty girl all ready to get some tea, yummy!!

In the Cascade’s restaurant with Andi as our waiter and Franklin as our assistant waiter

Oh dear the Tortilla Chips have come and they are green and the one’s Amy doesn’t like L we are not off to a good start L But the rest of the meal Amy enjoyed, her chicken fingers and Brownie Madness.  I got really lovely Gluten Free Bread, yummy!!!

Captain’s Welcome Party tonight so we headed to the Colony Club where they had a big block of ice, really cool in more ways than one hee hee!  And we managed to get 2 glasses of champagne legitimately this cruise!!
