So Colin gets up early and puts on the USPGA now that is a bit strange as normally he would be watching the golf in the evening but here with the time differences he is watching it at silly o’clock in the morning! Colin was watching golf so it was only me dropping off Amy so that felt a bit weird today too. Amy and I parked at our new house (as from Monday, eeeek can’t wait!!!) and walked across the football fields. We were busy chatting unlike us I know ha ha and then all of a sudden Amy pulled me back and said ‘Bye Mummy’. Gosh I was so engrossed in our conversation that I forgot that she only wants us to walk her to the crossing before the school gates!!! Silly me!!! Amy struts off and the best bit for Amy is that she doesn’t look back at all, but the worst part for our heart strings is that exactly, she doesn’t look back!!! But we are bursting with pride for Amy settling in sooooo well at school and for her feeling confident enough to walk into school by herself. Amy is now deciding what time she will leave for school when we move into our new house as she wants to walk to school by herself then. Colin is struggling with this concept so I said to Amy she might want to wean Daddy off walking her to school, poor Colin!! It is great watching Amy’s independence growing and how much she has grown up over the past few months but it is pulling at our heart strings that is for sure watching our little girl growing up sooooo fast!!
