Another busy productive day!

Busy, busy day!!

 

We had bought our TV a couple of weeks ago and they had been storing it for us, so today was the day we went to collect it!!!  Exciting!!!  So we pitched up at the electrical goods store and drove round to the collection point.  Now bearing in mind when we bought the TV the guy said that we wouldn't fit the TV in Colin's car but we should be able to fit it in my car!!  Okay so we say this to the store man and he walks over and says 'Where is the rest of your car?'  Ha ha, cheeky my little meep meep is cool and has been managing to take more things that we ever thought it would!!

 

 

So look at this it managed to take the 55" TV now that made the guy eat his words!!  Colin and I were very surprised how much room we had in my car with the seats folded all the way forward!!

Colin and I also went and bought a microwave, bedside lamps and a clock radio.

 

So until Amy gets her drawers and wardrobe I gave her 3 boxes to arrange her clothes in,

more pocket money being earned!!  Amy is saving up for a Build-a-Bear outfit and we have opened a bank account for her linked to school so she would like to put some money into it too!

 

And look we received our first parcel today!!!  It was our router to get our Wi-Fi up and running but we don't get connected until next week.  Everything is coming together!!

 

Our first piece of post we received was Amy's school fees which we need to pay for materials, library resources and stationery items, worth every penny with all the things that she has been given since she arrived!!

 

Our last night at the holiday let tonight, we are all really looking forward to moving in officially tomorrow. 

 

When we got back to the holiday let tonight I received a letter to say one part of my police check was through, hooray!!  I have emailed my new boss to see if I can start work with only one part or whether I need to wait for the other part to come through, fingers crossed I don't need to wait and can start work at the end of August, but we'll see!

 

Amy's comment tonight was 'I can't wait to be a normal kid again with a Mummy and Daddy that work as I have my home now so next we need money coming in rather than going out all the time'.  Words of wisdom and all of our wishes Amy, don't worry!!!  But Colin and I are glad in a way that we are not working at the moment as we have been so busy setting ourselves up and it has been really nice doing it together!
