Day 2 – Honolulu

3rd July

We woke up to rain this morning, not like British rain or Florida rain just a little drizzle so only one thing for it…….

 

 

Put on our Lai’s and matching hair bobble and have a party on our balcony!!

 

The Hula dance!!

Oh yeah and a shot of the Boogy board too, great the apartment has 3 boogy boards and a comfy beach chair, perfect I’m having the chair and the other two have chosen their boogy boards!

 

Oh yeah, Hula Hula!!

 

Ok the rain is a bit heavier now so the party must go on!!!!

 

 

Amy you are supposed to look at the camera not yourself, poser!!!  So we headed down in the lift to…………..

 

the sunshine at the pool!!!  This is Amy’s new swimwear we got from San Francisco, cool!

 

Amy is in the pool already, Colin is having a little lie down in the sun and I am trying to catch up with the journal as the blog sometimes takes over and I forget to write our own little account of things down!

 

 

As some of you know Colin doesn't do Facebook he tweets instead oh no that tweet is coming from the cute birdie that has joined you Col ha ha!!

 

The swimmer!!  The pool is 2.5ft at one end, goes to 6ft in the middle and then at the other end it is 4ft!

 

Amy is loving the pool!

This little pigeon type bird had the loudest song to sing I was expecting a Macaw or something not a little toot like that making all that sound!!

 

Loads of cute little birdies around to keep me company whilst Colin and Amy are in the pool!

 

So here we are, swim over, now time to relax for a bit in the sun or shade depending on which sun lounger you were on as the sun was going behind the tower blocks!  So our sensible little girl is in the shade and not so sensible Daddy is lying in the sun!  As Colin put it ‘school boy error’ meant that he didn’t put any sun screen on when he came out of the pool the first time and then went back in the pool and still didn’t put on after the double dip so you know what happened after that????   Ouchy ouch stomach, chest and he even managed to get his eyelids burnt, wowcha!!!  Poor Colly is RED and HOT he could be in an advert for Chilli Sauce, red and hot hee hee!!!!

We headed back to the apartment, pool is on 6^th floor and we are on 22^nd!

I made enough of the speciality Cajun Chicken for tonight’s tea too so it is a chuck in the microwave tea tonight.  We played a few games of Uno and Top Trumps and then it was bedtime!!
