Tholt-y-Will and Sulby Glen Road

A little drive on Sulby Glen Road and Tholt-y-Will Road for the last time :o((

The wizard xx
What a beautiful backdrop, we normally just drive by but was lovely to stop and admire the wizard!

The girl xx

Awh two girls, ha ha!!

Wow didn't realise the girl was that tall from the road when driving by!

ROAD CLOSED :o(
The section of Tholt-y-Will that is being repaired, boo hoo we've not been able to drive on the road since February.  The road has been needing repaired for a few years, glad it is getting repaired but would've liked a last memorable drive along Tholt-y-Will.

The cattle grid coming into 30mph zone onto Sulby Glen Road, the tight section of the drive home, love this road!

From Sulby Glen Road heading away from the cattle grid at the 30mph zone.

Mother's day

Mother's day (a day early as Mummy is working a 13 hour shift on Sunday 30th March, boo hoo!)

Amy's secret from school a beautiful bunch of daffodils, thanks sweetheart xxx

Amy designed cards, the orange card says pull here, see below picture!

That is the pull here!  2 hearts with You and Me written on them, really sweet!
But the best of all is the poem that Amy has made herself, really sweet!
Amy informed us it is a 'Acrostic poem' the first letters of each line spells out
'MOTHER' makes my card even more special XOXOXOXO

And even more presents, keyring with 'Best Mum in the World, a pin holder with letter 'M' on front made at Brownies and a beautiful teddy with a picture frame saying 'Mummy and Me'
All of the presents and cards mean so much to me as Amy handpicked the presents, made the present and cards.
We are soooooo very lucky to have such a special, talented gorgeous daughter.  Mummy and Daddy love you very much
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

Amy's last injection for the trip, woop woop!!

That is it Amy is away for her last injection for the trip, woop woop!!!  Amy and Daddy have needed 7 injections and Mummy had 4 as Mummy had some through work already!  Amy was super brave with her Emla local anaesthetic cream on her arm prepared for injection, Mummy calls it bird poo on Amy's arm!!!  Ouchy ouch but Amy has been super brave, well done Amy Mummy and Daddy have been super proud of you being sooooooooo BRAVE!!!!

Packing the golf clubs and Amy's bicycle

Amy's bicycle getting a proper clean to ensure NO DIRT on wheels!!!

Toothbrush in hand to clean the golf clubs and golf shoes, Wowzers!!!
Australian customs supposed to be very tight on letting in things that may have soil etc on!
Colin is just hoping and praying his favourite golf shoes get in, eeek!!
How sweet, Daddy and Amy's golf clubs packed side by side, no more golf on the Isle of Man now :o((

One of our final walks around Peel whilst Amy is dancing!

These photo's are a combination of Saturday the 15th March and Wednesday 19th March whilst walking through Peel.  Our usual walk whilst Amy is having fun at dancing at Gena's Dance Academy, on a Saturday afternoon Amy has Tap and Modern classes and on a Wednesday evening Modern class!!  All focus at the moment at dancing is on Imagination show that Amy is performing in 4 dances at the Gaiety Theatre, WOW how exciting!!!

Sun setting over Peel Castle

Coastal path with gorgeous views

Rare occasion that both of us are enjoying each others company, the views
and walk along the Coastal path.

Gorgeous quaint side streets, beautiful evening for a walk.

Trial jobs for Colin ha ha!!

So lots of people ask if Colin has a job to go to, that is NO he is in touch with an agency and has been advised to seek work when he arrives as normally companies want people to start straight away.  So Colin keeps saying he might change career!?  Here is Colin trialling receptionist at hairdresser's, it was hilarious Amy was getting her hair done and Colin made his last appointment for Isle of Man haircut with Ann's close supervision (ofcourse!).  He was lucky the phone didn't ring now that would've been hilarious!!!  What a hoot we had, lucky Ann knows us really well at VIP salon.

So here is another profession trialled - bodyguard or umbrella holder for Princesses!  I think this would be a fail as the back of Amy's hair got a little wet!  So won't be encouraging Colin into this career ha ha!!  He is taking the responsibility seriously though in the photo :o)))

House does not feel the same now!!

So we had some big pieces of furniture collected and wow does the house feel strange now!!  This is when we realise that we have absolutely fab neighbours, thanks for the help guys!!

Lounge Unit SOLD and being collected, wow it is a BIG solid chunk of Oak Wood

He-Man let's move it single handed ha ha NOT!!

Ok all hands on deck to lift the unit over the threshold, wowcha it is HEAVY!

Here is the supervisor ha ha who has just returned from her day out with Uncle Brian

That's it, lounge unit and dining table in the back of the van, Bye Bye furniture you've done us well but time to move on!!

The dining room is completely bare and is now storage for our breakables for the packers!!  Every step just makes it feel real what is really happening in 17 DAYS!!  WOWCHA that has crept up on us!!  Most of our furniture is being collected on the 10th April so our last night in the house will be on blow up mattresses and then it will be drop Amy off at school and lock up house forever, sob sob the end of an era, but wow the start of a big massive adventure which we are all getting excited about but also nervous understandably!

Quality time with Uncle Brian

Uncle Brian and Amy disappeared for the day just the two of them
whilst Colin and I sorted more packing out!!

Uncle Brian and Amy went to feed the ducks at Bishopscourt and then had a picnic at the Wildlife Park, they had a ball the pair of them up to mischief as usual!!!!

Emotions hit me when Amy and Brian were out, as in the reality of it ALL, the travelling, the experiences we will have, the cities we are visiting, the move to the other side of the world and our new life Down Under!!!  But when this happens we soon snap each other out of it and then we get cracking with the jobs needing done!  In the end we got loads done before we had to become the removal team!

Here are the final photo's in the house with Uncle Brian on the Isle of Man.  The timer of the camera is 3 shots and the new rule is the third photo has to be funny faces :o)

 HILARIOUS!!  LOVE IT!!!

Our last meal out with Uncle Brian was at the Hawthorn, it was scrummy yummy!!  But poor Amy with her lack of teeth struggled with the spaghetti!!!
